July 2014 - Another major milestone for FISA, is the release of the updated ‘Guidance on Managing Health and Safety in Forestry’. This document provides essential information and guidance on health and safety for all those working in the forestry industry/ woodlands.

The Managing health and safety in forestry booklet was first launched in 1999 and has successfully improved health and safety standards in the forestry industry.
Everyone involved in forestry work has health and safety duties and responsibilities. This booklet contains guidance to help employers, the self-employed and those in control of work in forestry meet their duties under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
